Founder and chief executive. Background in microbiome science and biotechnology company-building; leads strategy, platform direction, and the QADR group relationship.
GutRecover · Founder LinkedInA team that takes the science seriously.
Experience across microbiology, clinical development, manufacturing, and company building — united by the conviction that defined microbiome restoration is the next frontier of therapeutic development.
Mission
"Restore the terrain, not mask the symptom."
GutRecover Therapeutics transforms microbiome science into clinically rigorous interventions against post-infectious dysbiosis — recurrent C. difficile infection chief among them — and chronic gastrointestinal disease.5,16 Our platform combines advanced microbiome science, multi-omics profiling, characterised strain consortia, and biomarker-driven formulation to design interventions that are both rigorous and scalable.
We operate as the therapeutic arm of QADR Biotechnology — the scientific layer between the holding company and the consumer brands. We address healthcare professionals, investors, scientific partners, and regulators. Our identity is that of the laboratory, not the shelf.
Leadership
A core team across science, medicine, and operations — built for the rigour a clinical-stage live-biotherapeutics company demands.
Two decades in microbiome discovery and translational microbiology. Leads the multi-omics platform, strain library, and consortium design.
Microbiome R&D leadership LinkedInPhysician-scientist in gastroenterology and clinical development. Leads clinical strategy, trial design, and medical affairs across the GR portfolio.
Clinical gastroenterology LinkedInBioprocess and CMC leadership for live biotherapeutics. Leads fermentation, formulation, and quality at the Casablanca innovation hub.

Team
A cross-functional team spanning microbiology, clinical science, regulatory affairs, and operations — distributed across Dover, Delaware and Casablanca, Morocco.
GutRecover's team is intentionally lean and technically deep. Each role exists because the science requires it — not because the organisational chart demands it. Decisions are made closest to the data.
The Morocco-based innovation hub provides the R&D and early-stage manufacturing infrastructure, while the Delaware legal entity manages the regulatory and investor-facing activities. This structure enables responsiveness to both the scientific opportunity and the regulatory landscape across key geographies.
Scientific Advisory Board
External scientific counsel from leading researchers in microbiome science, gastroenterology, and live biotherapeutics — guiding program decisions at each stage.
Host–microbe interaction and colonisation resistance. Advises on consortium design, mechanism, and translational models.
Academic microbiome research LinkedInClinical gastroenterology and inflammatory bowel disease. Advises on indication strategy, endpoints, and trial design.
University GI medicine LinkedInLive biotherapeutic regulatory strategy. Advises on the IND/CTA pathway and CMC expectations for a new product class.

Partnerships
GutRecover partners with pharmaceutical companies, academic groups, and investors who share the conviction that the gut ecosystem is a tractable therapeutic target.
Pharmaceutical collaboration
Co-development, licensing, and supply agreements with pharmaceutical partners seeking access to GutRecover's defined-consortium technology in specific indications or geographies.
Business development →Research collaborations
Joint research agreements with academic groups in microbiome science, host-microbe interaction, and clinical gastroenterology — contributing to both discovery and validation phases.
Scientific inquiry →Investment & capital
GutRecover is advancing a clinical-stage pipeline backed by QADR Biotechnology. We engage with institutional and strategic investors aligned with the long-term vision of the microbiome as medicine.
Investor relations →Working at GutRecover
A culture built around scientific rigour, intellectual honesty, and the shared belief that what we are building matters for patients.
Decisions follow the data
We do not advance a programme because it would be convenient to. We advance it when the evidence supports it. That discipline is non-negotiable and applies to everyone in the organisation.
Small team, large mandate
We hire for depth over breadth, and expect each person to own their domain completely. The absence of hierarchy is not an oversight — it is a deliberate choice about how science gets done well.
